We had such a good turn out at Pizza Rio we are going to try it again for this Saturday 5/3/2008. Again bring money if you would like to eat lunch. Pizza Rio will be making fresh hoggie subs with Turkey or Ham which are baked to perfection. Hope to see you there!
Chess at Pizza Rio
Once again we had another great turn out. Thanks to all the members that came out this weekend. We had 12 players show up for some ladder chess, blitz and a slew of other games. The food was perfect, the Mozart music durning game play was wonderful and the relaxed atmosphere was well worth the drive. We want thank Pizza Rio for allowing us to play in there fun filled restaurant.
second event
Our second event will be hosted at Pizza Rio which is south of Belen. We will also be starting our new Chess Ladder as well. More information is listed under the events page. Hope to see you there.
First Event
Our first event went very well at the Belen Public Library. We had a total of 9 players show up for some casual chess, timed chess with a clock, a few 5 and 2 minute blitz games and even one game of bug house. We will be meeting again on the 26th of this month to start our chess ladder. More information will be listed in the events area as soon as we create the new flyer.
